Awww yay! I'm so glad to hear it! It's not easy (for me) to make technical writing enjoyable to read so when I hear things like this it gives me the motivation to keep working at it. 🫶

Saving this article in my Readwise, thank you!!

And OMG... I thought I was going insane with a "ghost variable" that had popped up in my Wireframe Kit. The craziest part was that it was a MODE, not just a color or similar. And that mode didn't even exist in my Local Variables. Turned out to be some "bug" Figma said, that got "copied" from an old instance/component. I had to go through all instances that had touched that or had it nested, and manually reset props. 🫠 Wish I knew about the "Reset variable modes in selection" command.

Thanks again Sam! 🫶

P.S. TIL that ⌘ + P opens "Quick Actions" as well! I've been using the OG ⌘ + / until now, and then realized ⌘ + K works too. 3 hotkeys for it! 😆

I know right? I use cmd + P because I think it prioritizes your last plugin action and thats 99% of what I use that command line "quick actions" for. 🤷‍♀️

And no, you are not crazy. This is a 2yr old issue with hundreds of people experiencing the same things. I'm just the only person crazy enough to gather it all into one place. 🧟‍♀️

Oh wait! Did you know about the ⌥ ⌘ P shortcut to "Run last plugin" ?? 😉 If not, you can avoid using the search altogether for that!

You're reminding me to revive my keyboard shortcut database. I find that tools switching what is what leaves me forgetful!

This is an amazing resource and a work of art, documentation-wise. Thank you for the incredible job (and the spooky theme)!

Aww thank you for taking the time to comment! 🫶 Hearing things like this motivates me to keep working on these technical topics in a way that is a bit more challenging to create but hopefully easier to understand.

Indeed it's a lot of effort, and it shows. Your effort helps a lot of people (me included) with a learning curve. : )
